Hello Korean Café fans! The popular Caffebene, voted the best coffee brand in Korea will open its first Singapore outlet at Vivocity this month. (Read: 10 Best Korean Cafes In Singapore)

The first time I stepped into Caffebene at Seoul Korea, I fell in love with the aromatic coffee, the tranquil environment and vibes. Of course the café at Myeong-dong was the place to people-watch over a cuppa.

Since the opening of its first store in April 2008 in Korea, Caffebene has since grown to over 1,500 stores worldwide.
The local outlet at Level 2 of Vivocity will occupy more than 1,400 square feet with more than 60 indoor and alfresco seats.

Caffebene Singapore will have a menu similar to that of Korea’s. However, there will be tweaks to the recipes to cater to the local palate.

Expect Korean Bingsu, Belgian Waffles, Italian Gelato and Honey Bread, as well as other dessert and beverage choices.

There will be also a Gourmet Takeaway food section which provides customers with options of light savoury meals on-the-go.
