December and January are the months that we will join in for festive celebrations with families, colleagues and friends – many we haven’t met in a while. The common question I will get is, “Where shall we go for Christmas buffet?” and… “reasonably priced”.
Seasonal Tastes up on Level 32 of The Westin Singapore has done up quite an impressive Christmas buffet menu, also boasting alluring festive cake and dessert offerings.

Here’s what I like about it: Other than just offering what they already have, then add some turkey and log cake, the kitchen team has put some thought into coming out with a list of Christmas-themed items to be presented.

Christmas Buffets
The Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet, Christmas Brunch Buffet and Christmas Day Dinner Buffet are rather exciting with characteristic festive offerings and luxurious seafood – House-brined Maple-glazed Ham, Apple Honey-glazed Turkey, Chestnut Stuffing, Port Reduction, Nova Scotia Lobster, accompanied by the freshest selection of snow crabs, prawns, half-shell scallops, lobsters and freshly-shucked oysters.
If you are a fan of oysters, you will be thrilled to know that you can have your oysters prepared in three different ways – baked, steamed or fried in a batter.
Top off the feast with free-flow of champagne, beer, wine, soft drinks and juices.

The dessert counter is particularly appealing, especially attractive as this is the first thing I saw upon walking in the restaurant – a tall fondue in the middle, surrounded by mouth-watering desserts such as the Chocolate Indulgence Yule Log, Cheese Yule Log, Apple Pie, Pecan Tart, cute Christmas cupcakes, and this must-try Bailey’s cake (which should promise quite an dessert-holic experience).
