Amazing, that shops can open in Singapore that just sell the Acai. If you haven’t come across it yet, the reddish purple Acai berries from Brazil are touted as the superfood supposedly with anti-aging and weight loss properties.
Acai (pronounced ‘ah-sigh-ee’, not ‘Ah-Cai’ or ‘Ah-Kai-Ee’) is also said to be high in antioxidant.
The trendy Acai Bowl is like a smoothie which almost taste similar to a healthier form of ice cream.

The signature acai is blended together with guarana, fresh apples, fresh bananas, 100% natural coconut water, with organic seeds and nuts for the toppings.
They emphasized that fresh apples are used instead of processed apple juice in the blend.

The base is in a purplish cold puree form, consistency thinner than I expected, with a tarty-sweet taste similar to a mixture of raspberry and blackberry, and a faint aftertaste that would remind you of dark chocolate.
Presentation and taste wise, I find Absolute Acai very similar to its competitor at Holland Village.

Makes a healthier alternative to ice cream and soft serves I suppose. Absolute Acai is obviously targeting the office crowd and the gym goers around the CBD. Talking about that, show your gym membership card and you get a 10% discount. I got mine.
