Raclette Cheese Fries
Available as part of a Meat Platter, the Raclette Cheese takes the wheel (pardon the pun). The Swiss cheese dish involves heating a wheel of semi-hard cow’s milk cheese, and scrapping off (racler) the melted part onto fries.

That is not over.

Here is the cue for you to get your cameras ready for Instagram, bourbon will be poured over, and flamed up on the fries.

Fries with Salted Egg Yolk Cream
While I initially wanted to go easy on the Hand Cut Fries with Salted Egg Yolk Cream sauce ($6), they were irresistible.

Without exaggerating, these were probably the best fries I have eaten this entire year, perhaps even including last.

It has been a while since I last ate fries with that real potato taste (I know, sad), and these came soft and lightly salted, with house-made creamy salted egg sauce without that artificialness.

Jalapeno Cheese Fries
Hand-cut fries, cooked to order, and the cheese sauce was the-yums. Again, perhaps eat these fast, otherwise the fries would turn soggy quick.

Tom Yum Truffle Fries
With something like Tom Yum Truffle Fries ($6.80), we knew that was needed to fulfil our curiosity. “What on earth will the taste be like?”

Verdict. Like fries with salty tom yum power, while the truffle went missing.

Poutine
Poutine is a Canadian dish of fries in cream cheese and some kind of gravy.

Warning! This can be very addictive! The fries were soaked in duck gravy, cheese sauce and further added with crunchy duck skin – salty and sinfully good.

Kimchi Carnita Fries
The Kimchi Carnitas Fries ($16) was voted the “best dish in Korea” by 10 Magazine and one of the “six must-try foods in Seoul” by The Fodor’s Travel Guide.

It was actually good stuff. Shoestring fried drizzled with both sour cream and hot sauce, topped with fresh chopped onions, melted cheese, KIMCHI and a sprinkling of braised pork.

I find the mix of both sauces pleasurable, as one could lick off the creaminess at the edge, mixed with a dash of fieriness. Not overly spicy, I must say.

Char Siew Chilli Fries
You can’t stop eating this. Truly a type of fries I won’t mind having again and again. I imagined drier form of char siew when I saw this on the menu.

Fortunately, the Char Siew Chilli Fries ($7)was covered with a moist saucy chew siew ragout, with sour cream and jalapeño salsa, which to me was an improved version of fries with meat sauce.

Truffle Floss Fries ($8)
Also available at Redpan.

Floss and sweet mayonnaise made a particular brand’s signature bread very famous. This fries had sweet-mayonnaise like drizzled over, which was adequately coated by chicken floss.

Wait, there was also truffle aioli which would satisfy truffle-fries fan.

Truffle fries? This is one level up.

Strangely, this Salted Egg Sweet Potato Fries ($12) works. Twice fried so that it becomes golden crisp on the exterior but still soft inside, accompanied with curry leaves and grainy house-made salted egg sauce.
