I was sold when I heard about the tempting Mandarin Oriental Truffle Christmas Turkey ($380, serves 6-8), accompanied with black truffle, heirloom potatoes and glazed chestnuts.
If you would like something more classic, there is also the Mandarin Oriental Singapore’s Traditional Roasted Christmas Turkey ($180, serves 6-8).
For a more indulgent treat, do not miss the Desserts. The Christmas Apricot Pistachio Pie ($38) immediately caught my eye, consisting of rosemary apricot pistachio cream, vanilla sable tart meets orange chocolate mousse.
How pure and white. The White Forest Christmas Wreath ($42 for 500g, $80 for 1 kg) is a show-stopper as well – a homemade almond cake filled with luscious Amarena cherry coulis and caramel cremeux.
A log cake that looks like a Santa Belt and buckle? Yes, the Praline Chestnut Pear log cake ($42 for 500g, $80 for 1 kg), made of redcurrant genoa sponge with chestnut mousse, William pear confit and intense hazelnut praline crunch is so elegantly presented.
