[New York City] Eleven Madison Park has earned the dual titles of The World’s Best Restaurant 2017 and The Best Restaurant in North America.
The restaurant’s co-owners, Will Guidara and Swiss-born chef Daniel Humm, enhance the fine-dining experience with a sense of fun, blurring the line between the kitchen and the dining room.

Housed in an art deco building overlooking New York’s Madison Park, the 3-star Michelin restaurant’s multi-course seasonal tasting menu celebrates the city’s rich history and culinary traditions.
The Dining Room Tasting Menu is a seasonal menu consisting of 8 to 10 courses that focuses on local ingredients. It includes some communal dishes as well as some individual choices.
Starting on April 11th, Eleven Madison Park will be exclusively serving an eleven course retrospective menu highlighting some of the most significant dishes they have served over the last 11 years.
The price of the menu is $295 per guest. This price is all inclusive, excluding beverages and tax. As such, gratuities are neither expected nor accepted.
I know I haven’t got time to write a review proper, but I will do so when I get back home. Here are some of the food that I had:

I can imagine why diners would like Eleven Madison Park – it is both classy and interactive, involving many senses while dining. Located at the heart of New York, it encapsulates the energy of the city with some fun aspects.
The meal ended with a box of chocolates where we were supposed to match the type of milk used in four different chocolates. Well, I only got one correct. But it was one dish to demonstrate how they can incorporate ‘games’ into a fine dining meal.
