[Taipei] Miracle Coffee is a blue-themed coffee store at Neihu District, which offers a range of coffee choices such as hand drip, Americano, latte and cappuccino for takeaways.
Sounded very much like any ordinary coffee joint, except that this is by our home grown talent, “The Roving CD“ JJ Lin. *Fan-mode scream* #行走的CD #带走的咖啡
If you are a hard core fan of JJ Lin, you would be able to detect traces of his ideology and personality from store’s outlook.
Such as the name “Miracle” comes from his music belief “If miracles had a sound”, and navy blue is one of his favourite colours.
Located at Taipei Neihu District, the coffee store is found right next to his production studio.
However, this may not be entirely convenient for overseas fans to pay a visit. (It is of 15 minutes’ walking distance from Andre Chiang’s RAW by the way.
So if you are lucky, “Miracles” can happen and you may chance upon JJ Lin live at the coffee store.
Miracle uses single origin coffee beans from places like Rwanda, Ethiopia and Costa Rica. The coffee bean used also changes on a seasonal basis.
A cup of Latte/Cappuccino cost NT$95 (SGD$4.40), Espresso/Americano at NT$75 (SGD$3.50) and Hand Drip at NT$100 (SGD $4.60). About the same price as the speciality coffee in Singapore.
You can also look out for their Dessert of the Day (NT$35, SGD$1.60) such as pound cakes and butter milk biscuits.
Their butter milk biscuit was buttery, slightly dense in texture and resembled the crust of Taiwanese pineapple tarts. Though I would prefer the biscuit to be fluffier.
I love their takeaway cup which comes in shades of blue, good for photography purposes.
Also JJ Lin fans should definitely drop by and wait for miracles to happen.
