[Tokyo] This is a truly hipster café in Harajuku that sells only single origin coffee.

No regrets. It has industrial chic and charm painted all over. Got the feels.

The coffee place was born when Mr. Nojiro and TY Harbor – which owns dozens of restaurants like Breadworks and Ivy Place, decided to join forces and open up a new third wave coffee roaster.

“I want to open a coffee shop on Cat Street someday.” That’s what I told myself six years ago when I was still in college. It was my dream”, according to the co-owner.

Once you enter Roastery By Nozy Coffee, you will see a blackboard with two types of beans available for the day.

There are three espresso machines inside the shop and a brew station in the back where baristas prepare drinks.

In the middle of the shop, there is a big 360 degree counter which reflects the important of barista interaction with the customer.

The baristas are well-trained and informed about the beans, and speak relatively good English. They seemed more than happy to provide useful information about the whole beans on the menu.
