If you talk about some of the best burgers available in Singapore, Three Buns by the Potato Head Family will be a shoo-in.
There is just something about that pillow-soft burger and particularly-juicy patty, that is so satisfying when you first hold with both hands, unwrap the burger and chomp it down. (No, I think cutting a burger with a knife may not work, unless you are sharing the calories.)

The launch of Three Buns Quayside features an exciting new curated menu with exclusive combinations and popular signatures, as well as a weekend brunch menu.
The secret of this brand’s success lies behind the creative culinary talent of its Executive Chef Adam Penney and mixologist Potato Head Keong Saik’s bar manger Jonathan Emmanuel. He was the one who created the exclusive cocktails at Three Buns Quayside.

Three Buns’ food offerings reflect Chef Adam’s talent, love of high-quality meats and sauces, and years of research perfecting the perfect burger.
The signature burgers such as the Baby Huey, Smokin’ B-Boy and Bun DMC, are made with top quality prime grass-fed Black Angus beef from Australia. To retain its flavour integrity, each patty is made from two prime cuts of beef, and simply seasoned with just kosher salt.
They use a variety of premium cheeses from US, UK, and Greece, fresh local ingredients and house-made sauces, pickles and garnishes.
Even the buns are given the same utmost attention, using only locally-sourced and baked-fresh-daily artisanal breads.

Burgers at Three Buns are cooked to order, whether you prefer it medium or well done. There are also choices of , Lamb, Chicken, Crab, and Vegetarian patties.
You can also go protein-style, where you get a lettuce wrap instead of a bun.
Meanwhile, take a look at its new menu, featuring the classics and five brand-new burgers alongside all-time favourites.

There are also mains and bites with Asian influences created exclusively for Quayside; even a sweet treats between two buns — a good ol’ ice cream sandwich, and Sticky Date Pudding stepped in gula melaka and toasted coconut butterscotch sauce.
Here are 8 of the recommended items from Three Buns Quayside:

Kool Herc Burger ($18)
The star of the Kool Herc Burger is its hefty 150g Black Angus beef patty, cooked at medium doneness.
This premium beef patty is laid onto a toasted demi brioche bun that is slathered with ketchup and 3 Islands Mayo (mayo, ketchup, sriracha).
Lettuce and tomato are added for freshness to the bite, as well as cheese and pickles to fully complement the overall taste of the burger.

Da Cheese Master ($15)
Inspired by the dirty old-fashioned truck stop burger, you will definitely need napkins for this delicious mess of juicy Black Angus beef patty.
Loaded and oozing with gooey double cheddar, this is every cheese lover’s ultimate burger.
Plus, there are charred onions (which is my 2nd favourite part after the patty), double ketchup and rich white miso paste, letting you experience a party in your mouth with this burger.

Sly Stallone ($27)
Want a non-beef burger? Here’s a great alternative.
Try the Sly Stallone, a lamb burger made with a sustainably-sourced 150g Australian Dorper lamb patty.
Even the cheese, quader de cavra, is unique as it is a washed-rind goat cheese made from Italy’s Lombardia region.
Add some heritage tomatoes, fresh crisp lettuce, and pesto into the toasted demi brioche bun, and voila! A flavourful burger you wouldn’t want to miss.

Krabby Patty Burger ($25)
The Krabby Patty Burger is suited for seafood-lovers as it uses a 110g Irish Brown Crab patty. Irish Brown Crab is the most commercially valuable pot-caught species in Ireland.
This juicy and succulent crab patty is complemented with the flavours of coriander, chilli, lime, lettuce and salted egg mayonnaise.
What’s also unique in this dish is its bun – toasted baked rice bun.

Seng Dog ($12)
The Quayside-exclusive Seng Dog is an ode to Sen Dog from hip-hop’s Cypress Hill.
This Asian-inspired hotdog is rich with strong flavours, like the wasabi in its mayonnaise.
As for the must-have relish, it features its signature tangy Three Buns relish, and for added flavour, the intense bawang goreng – all nestled in a freshly toasted matcha bun.
You are not reading wrongly. It is a MATCHA bun, appearing in its signature green, and with that subtle taste within.

Truffle Cheese Fries JNR ($14)
We have seen several versions of Truffle Fries available in Singapore, but I really don’t think many serve up Truffle Fries with SHAVED TRUFFLES.
These house fries are double-cooked to make them extra crisp. The golden potato batonnets are served with a special truffle-infused cheese sauce, truffle aioli and with shaved truffles.
To balance the intense flavour of truffle, the fries are finished off with a sprinkling of chives for a delicate onion flavour. Worth every buck.

3 Monkeys ($18) and Aye Sailor Milkshakes ($18)
Also watch out for Three Buns’ two new boozy milkshakes (which are obviously not for the kids) – the bananas-based 3 Monkeys and chocolate-filled Aye Sailor made with house-made vanilla ice cream.
You can be sure that at Three Buns, all syrups, sauces, and ice cream are made from scratch in-house.
While adding a little alcohol to the milkshake provides that extra little ‘something’ that may get you high, it also cuts through the richness.

Brunch Item – The Ronnie ($19)
Bring the entire family, the gang, or the kids for weekend brunch fare at Three Buns, available every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4pm.
Expect Chef Adam and his team to whip up mean creations like Kinky Afro ($19), a stack of savoury buttermilk pancakes served with a homemade chicken sausage patty, fried free-range eggs, sun-dried tomatoes and a lavish drizzling of genuine maple syrup.
Get The Ronnie ($19) which is a demi-brioche bun containing chicken sausage patty, a fried free-range egg, slathered in miso bearnaise sauce. The side of tater tots is extremely addictive.
