Meow! It’s puuuuurfect time that Pusheen Café is coming to Singapore.
But hold your horses, Singapore’s 1st Pusheen Café is only opening on the 6th of January 2019, and for a limited time till March 2019.
If you are not familiar with this cat… the animated feline internet sensation Pusheen, is described as “a female domestic shorthair which is grey and tabby”. Its name came from the word “puisín”, which means kitten in Irish.
It was created in 2010 by Claire Belton, and most of you should have seen some of her GIFs around.

This will be the world’s first café dedicated to Pusheen.
The pop-up café will be located at Kumoya, a Japanese-French café which offers food with no pork and lard, and no alcohol. Kumoya is no stranger to character cafes, also behind Miffy Café, Cinnamoroll Café to Tokidoki pop-up concepts.

The interior of the café will be decorated like a Pusheen paradise, transformed with designs by the creator of Pusheen (Claire Belton) and her team of designers, exclusively for Singapore.
The menu will also feature Pusheen-inspired mains, desserts and beverages, specially designed by @LittleMissBento (Shirley Wong) together with the Kumoya kitchen team.
Shirley is also behind the menu design of several Character Cafes in Singapore, including Gudetama Café and My Melody Café Singapore at Suntec City.
There will be a total of 6 snacks, 4 mains, 4 desserts and 8 beverages served. Some of the highlights include:

Pusheen Cat Nap Creamy Japanese Rice ($22.90)
Japanese bamboo charcoal rice with beetroot cream sauce, blanketed by a soft egg crepe, with crispy Japanese karaage chicken, star-shaped carrots & cheese, and fresh garden salad.

Multi-coloured Tagliatelle pasta with assorted mushroom, turkey bacon, fish-shaped carrots, cat-shaped cheese and fresh garden salad. Vegetarian option available.

Super-stacked fruitcake burger with a 3D Pusheen macaron, biscuit “fries”, “ketchup” meringue kiss, fresh cream with berries, and fluffy cotton candy.

Pusheen Purrfect Surprise Choco Ball-of-Yum ($22.90)
Pour steamed milk to reveal the delicious surprise: marshmallow, candies, mini swiss roll, meringue kisses, colourful cereal, fresh berries and fruits, with special double swirl lychee Hokkaido soft serve.

A double swirl lychee Hokkaido soft serve with a meringue cloud, Pusheen cookie and macaron, mini swiss roll with fresh cream, pink lollipop, vanilla sable, meringue kisses, fresh strawberries, with a cotton candy backdrop.
