You may have walked past one of these Caffe Pronto in Japan, but may not have paid special attention as it isn’t as obvious as some of the more prominent coffee places there such as Doutor, Excelsior, and Tully’s.

Pronto will be opening up in Singapore, within Capital Square along Church Street.

The first date of operations is anticipated to be on the 13th June 2019.

“Pronto” is Italian for “ready”, and the concept is somewhat between an Italian coffee place and a restaurant-bar.

This is where you can enjoy Italian-style coffee and bread in the morning, then a plate of pasta for lunch and dinner.

Accordingly, they have 12 paste choices to choose from, with the most popular pasta item being the tomato Spaghetti with Eggplant and Bacon.

There are serve up a variety of original cakes and pastries, along with coffee and specialty drinks such as Latte, Kyoto Uji Matcha Latte, Ice Earl Grey Tea, and Cold Brewed Tropical Mountain Blend Coffee.

There are quite a number of high-profile Japanese brands coming to Singapore soon, such as Afuri Ramen at Funan Centre and Gram Cafe & Pancakes at Vivocity.

However, not all famous Japanese cafés were met with resounding success when they opened in Singapore. Pablo was one example.

Hope that Pronto can offer something different and exciting. Look out here for details in time to come.
