If you haven’t heard, the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019 awards will take place right here in Singapore, on the 25th of June at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Expo & Convention Centre.
Sometimes referred to the ‘Oscars’ of the culinary world, this is the first time the awards ceremony will take place in Asia.

Perhaps the chance to rub shoulders with renowned chefs such as Massimo Bottura (Osteria Francescana), Gaggan Anand (Gaggan) and Tetsuya Wakuda (Waku Ghin)?
Here’s the peculiar thing: Considering that this major food event is held in SINGAPORE, there is not as much buzz as you would have unanticipated, even among many of the foodies. We shall see what happens when the key date draws near.
