Hong Kong Michelin Guide 2020 – Cantonese Restaurant Forum Receives 3 Stars; Bo Innovation Drops To 2 Stars

[Hong Kong] Little surprises in this year’s Michelin Guide for Hong Kong, but many will rejoice for there is a whopping 11 new one-star restaurants.

There are 7 three-star restaurants comprising of the usual suspects. Cantonese restaurant Forum known for its Ah Yat braised abalone moved from two to three; while Sushi Shikon is considered a “new entry” after its relocation to the Landmark Mandarin Oriental.

Bo Innovation by Chef Alvin Leung lost a star though – from three to two.

French restaurant Arbor went up to two stars after earning its first star in 2019.

Thai restaurant Aaharn from Chef David Thompson of Nahm fame; and Louise by Julien Royer (Odette) are new restaurants which received one star.

Cantonese restaurant Fook Lam Moon well-liked by the rich and famous regains a star after losing it in 2017.
