For many bakeries which also happen to sell cakes, they are allowed to only to sell their existing cake supply but not produce new ones during this period.
So if you are looking for a cake for comfort, a celebration or Mother’s Day, Chateraise at Isetan Scotts Shaw Centre is still permitted to sell cakes (at least for now).
But only for that particular branch.

This is because they are operating as part of the business under “supermarket” which is exempted from the latest restriction.
Also, the cakes in Singapore are delivered over direct from Japan and not produced here.
