20 New & Hot Restaurants Singapore – February 2015

The trend of new openings in February – street food, desserts, and modern bistros. Soft serves, froyo, Korean bingsu and fried chicken will continue to stay for a while, while modern salad bars will get more fanciful.

What may excite you: Red velvet yogurt, Thai microphone, Taiwanese shaved ice dessert, and two restaurants – one in violet, the other black & white.

These are some of the new restaurants, bars and kiosks. There are too many cafes, so they belong to this different list.

Nookie Yogurt
POMO, 1 Selegie Road #01-04, Singapore 188306

Soft-launching end of February, the yogurt with style and attitude wants to give Llao Llao a run for its money. Nookie would be a combination of the familiar frozen yogurt with deconstructed desserts. Apple crumble, red velvet waffles in a dessert? Yes, yes.

In the works… a DFD Daniel’s Food Diary Nookie Yogurt. Still planning, still tasting. My requirements: it MUST be delicious AND photogenic.
