Day & Night was once known as Two Face Pizza & Taproom, which closed suddenly last December. A similar concept has reopened at the same spot selling similar items. When asked, they said “We have gourmet burgers now.” Same same, but different.

Great concept, making full use of the same space, also provide variety for nearby residents.
In the morning, it is an old-school kopitiam selling delicious yong tau foo, while during late mornings/early afternoon Ah Bong Italian would step in the other stall. The middle stall selling Penang Prawn Noodles, couldn’t make it. I knew it won’t last. (Sorry.)
At night, the chalkboards would come up and the kopitiam gets transformed to a pizzeria and taproom.

The good thing is, prices are similar to its previous menu. Expect appetizers such as Har Chong Gai ($10), Deep Fried Pork Belly ($10), Burgers and Mains ($18-$20), Pizzas ($18) and Pastas ($12-$18).

Food didn’t taste as good as I remembered it to be. Case in point, the Bismark Pizza ($18) which came with an ugly overcooked egg and burnt edges.

While I liked the sauce of the Tom Yam Pasta ($18), they might want to look into changing the brand of the spaghetti, whatever they were using didn’t quite work.
Let us just say Two Face had a much easier time than Day & Night would have. Chapter 55 selling similar staples of pasta and burgers, is less than 100 metres away. There is also The Tiong Bahru Club and other hipster cafes fighting for the same piece of Tiong Bahru pie.
