The Commerze at Tai Seng is like quite happening. So many cafes in a single row – 23 Jumpin, Carol Mel, The Oven Café Bistro, Grasso Coffee, and Supermilk. Add a Korean vegetarian restaurant The Boneless Kitchen.
The location is hard to find, doors tinted-black and are all shut closed. CANNOT SEE INSIDE.
The more savvy cafes have reviews with eye-catching photos decorated on the door. One had a press release pasted at the entrance. Alamak! Some have a person standing outside to get customers to, “Come in, come in.”

Supermilk had their door opened so we can see what was going on inside. Aircon spoil, that is why. They sell ice cream by the way.
The owner was friendly and apologized. I asked for more ice water. They gave us 5 cups. There were 2 of us.

“Why Supermilk?” I asked. (Reminded me of a brand of tee-shirt I would occasionally wear.)
“We sell freshly-made ice cream, and other milk-based products like Butter Chicken.”

Strangely, Butter Chicken was not in the menus – both the weekday and weekend ones. The weekday spread would include a Supermilk Beef Burger ($14.90), Oven-Baked Chicken Leg ($14.90), and Sambal Pasta ($12.90).
The weekend version included less of the mains, with French Toast ($10.90) and Scrambled Eggs Breakfast ($15.90) in the midst.

The Artisan Ice Cream came in cups of 3 ($10, $3.90 for single cup) and in flavours of Vanilla, Cookies and Cream and Hazelnut with Toasted Almond. There were no shelves for you to pick and choose flavours.
Our favourite was collectively the Hazelnut as it was distinctive with crunch. The Vanilla and C&C were too similar to each other, and the latter lacked the must-needed cookie chomp. Texture was pleasantly milky though, and not too sweet.

Its signature Tunisian Eggs ($13.90), 24 hours slow-cooked using tomato herb sauce, was promising though could do better with minor tweaks – more robustness in taste and thickness in texture.

Supermilk has a slight advantage over some of the other cafes in the same roll. The translucent panels at the side gave a view of the interior, and their foods were not too bad to begin with.
My humble suggestion. Sell dessert milkshakes. It is IN.
