In the world’s largest airline passenger satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax, Qatar Airways was announced the World’s Best Airline, taken over Emirates which has dropped to Number 4.
The Doha based carrier has won the prestigious Airline of the Year title for a fourth time, but the airline’s fate next year remains to be seen as it is still going during a gulf dispute with its neighbours.
Singapore Airlines moves up one position to Number 2.
SQ has also received awards as the Best Airline in Asia, the World’s Best Business Class seat, the Best Premium Economy Onboard Catering.

As for the Airline Catering categories, Etihad Airways (First class), Turkish Airlines (Business), Singapore Airlines (Premium Economy) and Thai Airways (Economy) take in top honours.
A surprise for Singapore Airlines. With ‘Book The Cook’ and introduction of ‘Deliciously Wholesome’ programme, the Business Class Airline Catering falls out of Top 10.
